New Moon Intention Journaling

The new moon is a good time to think about what cycles you may want to restart, begin, or change in your own life. These journal prompts will help you think about what your dream life looks like and how you can start connecting with your highest self through new moon intentions.

The moon's energy lasts for about 3 days before and after the time it reaches a new cycle. And there's no wrong time to set a new intention.

Also consider a new moon ceremony-- meditating, dancing, lighting candles or incense-- do whatever feels intuitive to you to bring in the new cycle and wash away the old.

What would your dream life look like?

If you already had 15 million dollars, what would you do for work?

What would be in your bank account?

Who would you spend your time with?

Who else?

Where would you live?

How would you practice spirituality?

How would you move your body?

What would you eat?

How would you practice creativity?

What would you do in your free time?

How would you give back?

How would you feel?

What would you do for self-care?

How would you fill your cup?

Then

Think about what the biggest discrepancies are between your dream life and your current life. Why are they *there?* How could you possibly close the gaps, even a little?

Then

Set an intention for this lunar cycle. It can be difficult to stay focused if you choose more than one or if it has many parts. Get clear with yourself and your intention. How do you want to feel this cycle? Would you like to manifest? You can choose something big that may take many moon cycles, but it's often better to think about a small step that's achievable in this moon cycle toward your greater goal. What small steps can you do to make big changes? Be gentle and show yourself some love!

Finally

How can you practice this intention- what can you do to make it come true? Meditate on it? Journal? What steps will you take?

"You wouldn't have that dream in your heart if you didn't already have what it takes to make it happen."
